At OKEYO, our story begins with the ocean—a vast, beautiful, and fragile ecosystem that connects us all. Inspired by the Maldives, a paradise of turquoise waters and vibrant marine life, we found our name and our purpose in the local Dhivehi language.
The word "OKEYO" is a fusion of two Dhivehi expressions:

"Keyolhaa": Meaning captain—a leader who guides, protects, and navigates with purpose.
